Plant Care:

Light:

• Full Sun: Oleander plants thrive in full sunlight. Provide at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal growth and flowering.

• Outdoor Planting: If planted outdoors, choose a sunny location with well-draining soil. Oleanders are often used in landscaping and can withstand hot and arid conditions.

• Indoor Placement: If grown indoors, place the oleander near a south- or west-facing window to ensure it receives ample sunlight. Rotate the plant periodically for even growth.

Watering:

• Regular Moisture: Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during the growing season (spring and summer). Water deeply when the top inch of the soil feels slightly dry.

• Reduced Watering in Winter: During the dormant period in winter, reduce watering frequency. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings.

• Avoid Waterlogged Soil: Ensure proper drainage to prevent waterlogged soil, which can lead to root rot. Use well-draining soil and containers with drainage holes.

• Morning Watering: Water in the morning to allow the plant to absorb moisture before the heat of the day.

Fertilization:

• Balanced Fertilizer: Feed Nerium oleander with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer). Choose a fertilizer with equal or near-equal ratios of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K).
