Plant Care:

Light:

• Full Sun: Plumerias thrive in full sunlight. Plant them in a location that receives at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight each day.

• Outdoor Planting: If grown outdoors, choose a sunny and well-draining location. Plumerias are well-suited for tropical and subtropical climates.

• Indoor Placement: If grown indoors, provide the plumeria with as much sunlight as possible. Place it near a south- or west-facing window to ensure it receives ample sunlight. Consider supplementing with grow lights if natural light is limited.

Watering:

• Moderate Watering: Water plumerias regularly during the growing season (spring and summer). Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings.

• Reduced Watering in Winter: In the dormant period (fall and winter), reduce watering frequency. Plumerias are drought-tolerant but benefit from occasional deep watering.

• Avoid Overwatering: Ensure proper drainage to prevent overwatering, which can lead to root rot. Use well-draining soil and containers with drainage holes.

• Morning Watering: Water in the morning to allow the plant to absorb moisture before the heat of the day.

Fertilization:

• Balanced Fertilizer: Feed Plumerias with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer). Choose a fertilizer with equal or near-equal ratios of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K).
