The Tigress F1 Squash (Zucchini) is a premium hybrid variety celebrated by both home gardeners and commercial farmers for its relentless productivity and exceptional disease resistance. Known as a "workhorse" in the garden, it produces sleek, high-quality fruits even late into the season when other varieties might succumb to summer stress.
Product Overview
Tigress is a medium-green zucchini with a classic cylindrical shape. It is designed to be user-friendly; the plants have an "open" growth habit, meaning the leaves aren't so dense that they hide the fruit. This makes harvesting much faster and helps prevent you from accidentally leaving a zucchini behind until it grows into a "baseball bat."
Key Features
• High Disease Resistance: One of the most resilient varieties available. It features intermediate resistance to ZYMV (Zucchini Yellow Mosaic Virus), WMV (Watermelon Mosaic Virus), and PRSV (Papaya Ringspot Virus), as well as Powdery Mildew.
• Superior Fruit Quality: Produces smooth, glossy, medium-green fruits with very light flecking. The flesh is tender with a mild, nutty flavor.
• Extended Harvest: Because it resists late-season viruses so well, Tigress stays healthy and continues producing long after other plants have died back.
• Reduced Spine Damage: The plant is bred with fewer spines, which means less scratching on the fruit (and your hands!) during picking.
