Air Purifier Plant

Light:

1. Indoor Light Conditions: ZZ plants are known for their tolerance to low-light conditions, but they thrive in bright, indirect light. Place your ZZ plant in a location with moderate to low light, away from direct sunlight. It can adapt to various light levels but avoid prolonged exposure to harsh sun.

2. Outdoor Considerations: If grown outdoors, provide partial shade, especially in regions with intense sunlight, to prevent leaf burn.

Watering:

1. Frequency: ZZ plants are drought-tolerant and prefer to dry out between waterings. Water the plant when the top 2 inches (5 cm) of the soil feel dry. Err on the side of underwatering rather than overwatering to prevent root rot.

2. Watering Technique: When watering, thoroughly saturate the soil, allowing excess water to drain out. Empty the saucer under the pot to prevent waterlogging.

3. Seasonal Adjustments: Reduce watering in the winter when the plant's growth slows down. During the growing season (spring and summer), you may need to water more frequently.

Fertilization:

1. Type of Fertilizer: Use a well-balanced, liquid fertilizer, diluted to half or quarter strength. Fertilize sparingly, as ZZ plants are not heavy feeders.

2. Frequency: Fertilize the ZZ plant every 2-3 months during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid fertilizing in the fall and winter when the plant is in a dormant phase.
